Solitude
This series documents strangers through shy observation. Seeking out crowded spaces to find lonely frames, the work captures the quiet isolation of modern life. These images lean into geometry and contrast, finding moments where simplicity battles against the mess and overabundance of the environment. Captured throughout 2025 across Germany, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and The United States, the project grounds the fleeting subjects in classic 35mm film. The resulting aesthetic relies on natural properties of the film stock and using traditional black-and-white darkroom editing.
