Solitude
This series documents strangers through shy observation. By seeking out crowded spaces to find the loneliest of frames, the work captures the quiet isolation of modern life. These images lean into geometry and graphical contrast, finding moments where simplicity battles against the mess and overabundance of the environment. Captured throughout 2025 across Germany, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the United States, the project grounds the fleeting subjects in classic 35mm film. The resulting aesthetic relies on the high-contrast compositions and minimal editing, originating from a traditional black-and-white darkroom.
